What a good sport...

Today's sneak peek is not only to show off this beautiful senior rep of mine but, it also gives some insight to what photographers go through that is at times, beyond their control.

When we left to head to our location for Serenity's senior session, the wind was chill. Just enough to give the hair some movement. Once we got to the location, only 30 minutes later, it was like hurricane force winds! (Ok, so maybe not THAT bad but...) We couldn't just cancel all together, we were already there. So time to improvise! I had to find spots that blocked the wind. I love this pull back shot that mom got because it shows that even an area next to the parking lot can prove to be an amazing area. AND...NO wind!

The next area we went to was just ridiculous. As I was about ready to go crazy, Serenity is laughing and having fun with it! In that moment she made me realize that it is what it is and embrace the situation with grace and laughter. That is EXACTLY what she did! Which instantly helped me to calm down and regroup. Continue to find places that will block the wind. Moving on....

We decided to tuck ourselves in to the beautiful mountains of Papago Park and voila! Stunning images! Just when I thought the shoot was over, done, caput, everything aligned for a beautiful sunset shoot to finish out the day. Serenity accepted all the challenges. The wind, hiking the mountain in heels, even the fact that the last half of her session could not be completed, she rose to the occasion. It made it all the more special! Thank you for being so incredible Serenity!
